Hi, I'm Michael

Originally from Houston, Texas, I moved to Washington, DC, and have proudly called the city home for the past ten years. Since arriving, I've enjoyed exploring the city and the greater DMV region, continually discovering new places, perspectives, and moments that inspire me. Many of those discoveries are reflected throughout my photography, where I aim to capture both the well-known landmarks and the everyday beauty that often goes unnoticed.

​My creative journey is rooted in a simple belief: beauty can be found everywhere if we're willing to slow down and notice it. Whether through photographs, soundscapes, or poetry, I enjoy finding creative ways to share the world as I experience it. I'm drawn to the details—a peaceful scene, an interesting sound, a meaningful moment—and the stories they tell.
